Hey, I'm Alisha… designer, business owner, coffee enthusiast and the face behind The Parker Effect.

After spending 10 years in the corporate world, I stepped away on maternity leave to soak up all things motherhood. Somewhere along the way, I fell headfirst into the world of weddings and events, and what started as a small creative side project quickly grew into the business I’m proud to have been running for almost nine years.

These days, you'll find me working from my home studio in Melbourne, usually with an iced latte nearby and my dog Nevada keeping me company. I spend my days creating thoughtful signage, stationery and event details that not only look beautiful but feel genuinely personal to the people they're designed for.

When I'm not behind the computer, I'm busy chasing after my two beautiful kids, Parker and Tanner, supporting them through school, kinder, netball and everything in between. My husband Brendan is often not far away either, usually stepping in as unofficial IT support whenever technology decides to test my patience.

One of the things I love most about what I do is getting to know my clients and helping bring their vision to life. I know planning a wedding or event can feel overwhelming, so my goal is always to make the process as easy, enjoyable and stress-free as possible. From our first conversation through to the final details, I want you to feel supported, excited and completely confident that you're in good hands.
